Halstead featured by Northwest Conference
Puget Sound baseball Head Coach Jeff Halstead has left a legacy of success as both a coach and student-athlete at the University of Puget Sound. Having graduated in 2000, Halstead was a standout dual-sport student-athlete, setting the baseball program record for all-time hits and leading the Northwest Conference in batting average with .446 in his senior season, as well as the football program record for receptions in a season – a record that has since been broken. Now in his seventh season as Head Coach, Halstead took the time to chat about his deep roots as a Logger, transitioning from a student-athlete into a coaching role in both football and baseball, and the future of Puget Sound baseball.
