134 Texas State Student-Athletes Earn Texas State Academic Excellence Awards

SAN MARCOS, Texas – The Texas State Athletics Department presented Academic Excellence Awards to 134 student-athletes who maintained a 3.5 GPA or higher during the 2020 spring or fall semesters or both semesters. Fifty-three student-athletes received a Star of Excellence award for earning a 4.0 GPA in the spring or fall semesters or both. Another 81 student-athletes earned an Academic Excellence Award for having a 3.5-3.9 GPA during one or both semesters.
