COMPTON, Calif. — Tate Brock hit a two-out walkoff single in the bottom of the ninth inning to lead the Mariners to a playoff berth on Saturday afternoon at the MLB Urban Youth Academy in Compton, Calif. The Mariners defeated the visiting Firebirds of University of Saint Katherine 5-4.
