Eovaldi to face Rays after Sox's first day off

Following their first off-day of the season, the Red Sox will face the Rays on Tuesday night for the opener of a two-game series at Tropicana Field. Nathan Eovaldi, who was traded from Tampa Bay to Boston in 2018, will take the ball for the Red Sox. Boston is 2-0 in his starts this season. With starters Chris Sale and Eduardo Rodriguez out for the season, Eovaldi has been thrust into the role of ace. Veteran righty Charlie Morton takes the mound for the Rays at 6:40 p.m. ET (watch live on MLB.TV).
