Five Pioneers named to D3baseball.com All-America team

MARIETTA, Ohio — The post season parade of awards continues as Marietta College placed five players on the 2022 D3baseball.com All-America team Wednesday (June 1) morning. Pitcher Sam Mathews (Fairfield, Ohio/Badin) was named to the first team. Damian Yenzi (Pittsburgh, Pa./North Hills) and Zach Boyd (Kent, Ohio/Tallmadge) earned second team honors. Turner Hill (Marietta, Ohio/Marietta) was placed on the fourth team and Trent Valentine (Byesville, Ohio/Cambridge) was named to the fifth team.
