Honeywell set for MLB debut against Yanks

Right-hander Brent Honeywell Jr., the former top prospect who's undergone four surgeries on his throwing arm since his last official game in September 2017, will make his Major League debut as the Rays' opener against the Yankees on Sunday afternoon at Tropicana Field. Honeywell, wearing No. 45, will take the mound to begin the game. Michael Wacha is also scheduled to pitch for Tampa Bay. Left-hander Jordan Montgomery will start for New York. First pitch is set for 1:10 p.m. ET, and the game will be broadcast live on MLB Network.
