Lakers Clinch Third Straight NEC Series

Erie, Pa.- Mercyhurst clinched their third straight NEC series on Saturday afternoon with their 2-0 win over Le Moyne. Jacob Bazala went 7.0 innings and struck out a season-high eight batters. It was his third straight game that he went at least 7.0 innings. The Lakers also turned a season-high five double plays. They now give themselves the chance to finish .500 in conference play in their first season at the Division I level.
