Track and Field Hosts Olympic Medalists at Triton Invite this Weekend

UC San Diego track and field will host the annual Triton Invitational Friday and Saturday at Triton Track and Field Stadium. This year's field includes nearly 1000 competitors from across the country and around the globe, ranging in experience from first-year collegiate athletes to Olympic gold medalists. The discus competition will feature three medal winners from the Tokyo Olympics — American Valarie Allman (gold) on the women's side and Sweden's Daniel Stahl (gold) and Simon Pettersson (silver) on the men's side.
