#14 Wingate rolls to 10-1 victory over Emory & Henry in series opener

Wingate, N.C.—-The 14th-ranked Wingate University Bulldogs got another dominant performance from Mitch Farris Friday afternoon, cruising to a 10-1 victory over Emory & Henry College in South Atlantic Conference baseball action at Ron Christopher Stadium. Wingate improves to 12-4 overall and 3-1 in the SAC, while the Wasps fall to 5-11 overall and 0-4 in league play. The 'Dogs are now 8-0 at home this season and have won 37 of their last 40 at Ron Christopher Stadium.
