A Conversation with Bob Williams on Race, George Floyd, and Where We Go From Here

For those of you that don't know me, my name is Peter Ingraham, Crown College's Sports Information Director, and the main curator of content on the Crown Athletics Website. In the last couple of weeks, I've been working on an article about the protests as a college in the Minneapolis metro (and as a current resident of Minneapolis). I reached out to the NCAA to see if they had any resources, and they allowed me to have a conversation with Bob Williams, the Senior Vice President of the NCAA for Communications. Williams was hired in this role with the NCAA in 2010, after working with the organization for five years. Before that, he served for 25 years in the U.S. Air Force, where he ended up serving in various communications roles including Director of Public Affairs for Air Combat Command at Langley Air Force base and was chief of the Air Force's public communication division at the Pentagon.
