Allen, Howell sweep GAC, NCBWA weekly honors

MAGNOLIA, Ark. – It was a clean sweep for a pair of Southern Arkansas Baseball players on Wednesday. Senior outfielder Conner Allen and junior pitcher Mikel Howell earned both the Great American Conference and National Collegiate Baseball Writers Association Central Region weekly honors for their respective positions. Allen becomes the first Mulerider position player to garner the award from either organization this season, while Howell joins fellow staffmate Jeremy Adorno who claimed both awards on February 14.
