Alvarez, Memmott shine in Saturday starts, WOU splits doubleheader, series with CWU

MONMOUTH, Ore. — The Western Oregon baseball team got a pair of stellar starts Saturday against Central Washington, but could only take advantage of one of them as the Wolves won game one 6-2 before falling in game two 1-0 to split the four-game series with the Wildcats at WOU Baseball Field.
