Back in the Win Column; Baseball Splits With Altoona

GREENSBURG – The Pitt-Greensburg baseball team in in the middle of a pivotal stretch in their playoff hunt. The Bobcats came into the day with a 3-7 conference record sitting on the outside looking in. The team kept itself alive, splitting its series with the Lions of PS Altoona. Tyler Litts earned hist first win of the season in game one, dealing over 5.2 innings, giving up three earned runs and striking out fur. Freshman Conner Burkey earned his first career save, pitching 1.1 innings of shutout ball, striking out two. A five run seventh inning propelled the Lions over the Bobcats in game two.
