Bainton Tosses Gem, Matadors Clinch First Series at Long Beach State Since '01

LONG BEACH, Calif.—Thomas Bainton tossed 6.2 shutout innings to help CSUN Baseball to 3-2 win at Long Beach State on Saturday at Bohl Diamond at Blair Field. The victory clinches the Matadors' first series win at Long Beach State since the 2001 season.
