Barton baseball stuns No. 7 Mount Olive with home doubleheader sweep, 4-2 and 6-5

WILSON, N.C. – The Barton baseball team (11-12, 3-6) came alive today with a dramatic doubleheader sweep of No. 7 Mount Olive (17-4, 7-2), 4-2 and 6-5, Saturday afternoon in Conference Carolinas action at Nixon Field. The Bulldogs snapped the Trojans’ eight-game winning streak and handed Mount Olive its first two losses in league play this year.
