[Baseball] Athletic HOF Inductee Profile: Hank Stewart

Former Brescia University baseball student-athlete Hank Stewart (class of 2014) was announced as an inductee for the Kentucky Legend Athletic Hall of Fame's 2020 class."It's always an honor to be recognized for the achievements that I worked so hard for," said Stewart.The Bearcat alumnus ranked first in the NAIA in slugging percentage (.807), second in runs batted in (68), fourth in batting average (.447), ninth in home runs (12), and eleventh in total bases (121).In 2014, Stewart was named to the NAIA Baseball All-American Second Team. Within the conference, he was named the KIAC Male Athlete of the Year in the 2013-2014 season and was also awarded the KIAC Baseball Player of the Year in 2014.In individual conference stats, Stewart led the KIAC in batting average (.447), on base percentage (.537), slugging percentage (.807), total bases (121), runs batted in (68), and home runs (12). Additionally, he ranked sixth in the KIAC in doubles (16).Stewart owns several team and individual Brescia baseball records. Team wise, he was on the 2014 team that recorded the school record for most wins in a season (35) and highest season winning percentage (.614).Individually, he set the school record for season RBI record (72) and season batting average (.447) in 2014."I enjoyed my time at Brescia.
