KANSAS CITY, Mo. – It was a game that supposed to be played in Leavenworth on Tuesday but was moved to Kansas City on Wednesday due to snow, but Saint Mary (7-33, 6-20 KCAC) didn't mind the change, pulling away in the middle innings to defeat Avila (6-30, 4-23 KCAC) 21-9 at The Z, avoiding the regular season series sweep at the hands of the Eagles.
