[Baseball] Big inning lifts Bulldogs over Wave

HAWKINS, Texas – One big inning by Jarvis Christian University (Texas) was the turning point in the nine-inning match up with Calumet College of St. Joseph on Thursday, March 5. The Bulldogs plated seven runs on three hits in the bottom of the eighth to put the game out of reach from the Wave, coming away with a 13-7 win. Angelius Reyes led the Wave offense with going 3-for-4 at the plate, while Zach Verta (SO/Chicago, Ill.) added his second home run of the season.
