Baseball Breaks Three GSU Records in Doubleheader Sweep of West Virginia Wesleyan

GLENVILLE, W.Va. – The Glenville State Baseball team broke three GSU records in their doubleheader sweep of West Virginia Wesleyan today, beating the Bobcats 6-3 in game one and 17-3 in game two. Diego Tamariz broke the all-time record in career strikeouts with 210, Fabian Escalante broke the single season record in doubles with his 16th two-bagger and Grant Landis broke the saves single season record with his eighth of the campaign. With the wins, the Pioneers are 10 games over .500 (17-7) in MEC play.
