Baseball: BSB: Dent Goes for Career High 7 Innings but Seawolves Fail to Capitalize, Drop Series Finale 3-0

ROHNERT PARK, CALIF. – On Sunday, April 23rd, the Sonoma State baseball team dropped the series finale 3-0 to Cal State San Marcos as the Cougars took the conference series three games to one. The Seawolves got a career performance from senior right hander Jake Dent who went seven strong innings allowing just two runs and striking out four batters. SSU was able to chase the Cougars starter in the 5th but they would go on to throw four additional pitchers to piece together a 7-hit shutout and secure the win.
