Baseball: BSB: Fonoti Hurls Second CG and a 15-Hit Sunday Salvages Series Split for Seawolves

LOS ANGELES, CALIF. – On Saturday and Sunday, April 15th and 16th, the Sonoma State baseball team got some clutch performances from right hander Tanner Fonoti and their offense to pull off back-to-back wins, earning them a 2-2 series split with Cal State LA. On Saturday, the Seawolves would bounce back after a tough 11-run defeat to then shutout Cal State LA in game two of Saturday's doubleheader, 9-0. Despite consistent scoring from the SSU offense, the player of the game would belong to second year player Tanner Fonoti as he threw his second complete game of the season and struck out a career high 8 batters on the day.
