Baseball: BSB: Seawolves Shutout by Pioneers to Start Five Game Home Stand

ROHNERT PARK, CALIF. – On Tuesday, April 18th, the Sonoma State baseball team made up their final game of their conference series with Cal State East Bay, dating back to early March. After four solid innings from Seawolves starter Ross Goldschlag, a 1-out RBI double in the 5th would put the Pioneers up 2-0 and force Goldschlag out of the game. SSU would unravel in the inning, allowing three walks to eventually load the bases, followed by a blooped RBI single and a sac fly to center to double Cal State East Bay's lead. The Pioneers starter was able to go the distance, allowing just three hits on the day as the Seawolves were unable to get on the scoreboard and dropped the series finale 4-0.
