Baseball Clinches GSC Tournament Berth

Rome, GA — The Shorter Hawks will be taking the field again this post-season in Oxford, Alabama for the GSC Tournament. They clinched their tournament berth after a Game 1 win at Lee this past weekend. Winning the series 2-1 over the Flames secured their 6th place seeding. Coach Wes Timmons and staff are looking forward to seeing what their players can bring to the diamond when Friday rolls around. The Hawks will take on #3 seed, The University of Alabama in Huntsville in the first round of the tournament on Friday, May 5th at 10:00AM.
