KANSAS CITY, Mo. — Trying to take advantage of the change in venue for its 2020 KCAC opener, Avila University (7-6, 0-1 KCAC) jumped out to a 9-0 lead early, but couldn't hold off the comeback attempt from Ottawa University (11-7, 1-0 KCAC) in a 12-11 loss. Trace Clinkenbeard went 2-for-4 on the afternoon, collecting five RBI in the process.
