Baseball Drops 13-10 Slugfest Against Saginaw Valley State

DETROIT — Twenty-three runs, 12 pitchers and three lead changes later, Saginaw Valley State (15-6 overall, 4-1 GLIAC) stole Wayne State's (15-7 overall, 4-1 GLIAC) 2024 GLIAC home opener 13-10 on a cold Wednesday afternoon at Harwell Field. Holding on to a one-run lead, 10-9 entering the top of the ninth, the Cardinals brought in four runs to take back the advantage for good.
