Baseball Drops Pair to UC

West Virginia State University jumped out to a 2-0 lead in the top of the 1st inning, when Connor Slagill double scored Christopher Jordan from 2nd base for the 1st run, and Slagill would score 2 batters later when Matt Harrison would rip a shot past the Golden Eagles 3rd basemen. However, UC would score runs in 5 straight innings for the 10-3 victory in game 1 of the four game series…. Game 2 was stopped at 9:30 AM due to rain wit UC up 2-0 in the top of the 4th with Matthew Kline at bat.
