Baseball Earns Doubleheader Split After Strong Start From Dzimian

The D'Youville baseball team kicked off its 2021 season, splitting a Tuesday doubleheader with Hilbert at Gowanda High School in Gowanda, N.Y. The Hawks took the opener, 3-1, grabbing the go-ahead lead in the final inning, but the Saints bounced back in the nightcap, 4-1, behind a dominating performance on the hill from freshman pitcher Alex Dzieman (1-0) in his first career start.
