Baseball Falls Short of Comeback in Centennial Tournament Opener

SWARTHMORE, Pa. – The Swarthmore College baseball team fell just short of completing a ninth-inning comeback as they lost to Haverford, 7-6, in the play-in round of the Centennial Conference Championship Tournament. Aidan Sullivan helped bring the Garnet back with a three-run homer in the ninth inning, but Swarthmore was unable to bring the tying run home.
