Baseball falls to Madonna as the Crusaders slug their way to a sweep

LIVONIA, Mich. – Baseball was back in action less than 24-hours after playing a nine-inning makeup game against Siena Heights, where they traveled to Madonna and lost both by a score of 10-4 and 8-4. Madonna struck early in both games thanks to homeruns where the lead was too large for the Golden Eagles to come back from as the errors came back to sting. Jake Collins, Matthew Kindley, and Andrew Meny led the team in hits totaling three between both games leading the offense. Cornerstone now falls to 17-25, 10-14 in the WHAC as they play two more against Madonna tomorrow Saturday, April 22 starting at 1 p.m.
