Baseball Gets First Win in DH Split with Carleton

MINNEAPOLIS (csssaints.com) – On Tuesday afternoon at U.S. Bank Stadium, the St. Scholastica baseball team split a non-conference doubleheader against fellow Minnesota Intercollegiate Athletic Conference (MIAC) foe, the Knights from Carleton College. The Saints were silenced in the first game, with Carleton's Kiefer Lord striking out 15 Saints in a 5-0 setback. In the second game of the day, the Saints scored four runs early and were able to fight off a comeback attempt by the Knights to split the doubleheader, 6-4.
