[Baseball] No. 21 Rams outslug RedStorm

Rio Grande Sports Information    RIO GRANDE, Ohio – The final score appeared better suited for college football than it did college baseball.    And in the same football-related theme, when all was said and done, the end result turned out to be the same as the most recent version of the Super Bowl – with a team whose mascot is Rams defeating its opponent from Ohio.    Bluefield University scored twice in the eighth inning to snap a tie and then added an insurance run in the ninth inning for a 17-14 win over the University of Rio Grande, Tuesday afternoon, in non-conference baseball action at Bob Evans Field.    The Rams, who were ranked 21st in the most recent NAIA coaches' Top 25 poll, improved to 20-3 with the victory.    Rio Grande fell to 11-22 for the season.
