Baseball Opens 2022 Season With Win, Tie at Concord

The Pitt-Johnstown baseball team made the trip to Athens, W.Va. and got the bats going early in Sunday's season-opening, non-conference doubleheader at Concord.  In game one, the Mountain Cats banged out 24 hits, including four hits and four RBI from Mario Disso and three hits and five RBI from Tyler Smith, in a 26-14 victory.  Pitt-Johnstown then rallied for 11 unanswered runs over the final three innings behind Lennox Pugh's home run and four RBI to secure an 11-tie due to darkness in game two.
