BASEBALL OPENS SERIES AGAINST QUEENS WITH HIGH-SCORING DOUBLEHEADER SPLIT

Flushing, NY – The College of Staten Island Baseball Team opened their four-game series against Queens with a split of a high-scoring doubleheader on Saturday.  In game one, the Dolphins held on in the late innings to win 9-7.  In game two, the Dolphins came from behind to tie the score late, but the Knight scored the go-ahead run in the sixth to win 11-10.  The Dolphins end the day 12-17 on the season and 7-7 in conference play.  The Knights are now 18-14 on the year and 8-6 conference play.
