Baseball picks up split against Northland on opening day

ASHLAND, Wis. — After several delays to the start of the season, opening day came at last for North Central University (NCU) baseball on Saturday afternoon when they took on the Northland College (NC) Lumberjacks in a doubleheader non-conference affair. After falling in the first outing to the Lumberjacks 8 to 10, the Rams responded to the adversity well by picking up the win 8 to 5 in the second game of the afternoon, securing the split for the Rams on opening day.
