[Baseball] Point Comes Away with 2 Wins to Start First Conference Series against Bluefield

West Point, Ga. — The Skyhawks hosted their first games played at West Point Park Field on Saturday. The series was also their AAC Conference opener as they welcomed the Bluefield College Rams for a double-header to start the weekend. The Skyhawks took game 1 by a score of 3-1 over the Rams and squeaked by with another win in game 2, winning by a score of 3-2. The Skyhawks would only manage six hits on the day but their excellent pitching would keep them in both games. With the 2 wins, the Skyhawks have already won the series and improve their record to 10-2 overall on the season and start off the season 2-0 in AAC play.
