Newcomer Drew Bailey had a RBI double to score Lance Pope for the Red teams first score of the night. In relief, LHP Brock Young gave up a solo homerun to take the loss for the Black team and senior LHP Dylan Barbee pitched three scoreless innings to close out the game for the Red team.Coach Hill's thoughts- "Both teams had multiple opportunities to score with runners in scoring position and did not execute. We have to do a better job and have better approaches at the plate in those situations. I thought all pitchers pitched well only allowing three runs as a whole. Both teams were energetic and the atmosphere was great. We had several fans and it was a sense of appreciation to me over the past year as when we did our fall classic last season where there was not many fans. Therefore, I would like to say thank you to the parents and fans of the community for coming out and supporting us last night."
