Baseball Returns Home to Host Western Carolina

Wofford returns home to Russell C. King Field after a little over a week away to host Western Carolina in a SoCon series. The Terriers are 27-11 (7-4 SoCon) after splitting two games at Mercer over the weekend (the third game was rained out) before downing UNC Asheville 5-3 in midweek play. The Catamounts are 21-17 (6-6 SoCon) after dropping two-of-three to Samford before falling 12-4 at No. 3 Tennessee in midweek action. The all-time series dates back to 1950 and features 108 total meetings with WCU holding a 76-21-1 lead. The Terriers won two-of-three in Cullowhee last season, including a 17-6 run-rule win the Sunday rubber match to take the series. This is the first series in Spartanburg between the foes since the infamous 2-2 tie on May 15, 2022.
