[Baseball] Rio tops Oaks, ends losing slide

Rio Grande Sports Information    RIO GRANDE, Ohio – Clayton Surrell had a pair of hits and drove in three runs as the University of Rio Grande rallied from a pair of early deficits to defeat Oakland City University, 7-3, Saturday afternoon, in the opening game of a River States Conference weekend series at Bob Evans Field.    Junior AJ Thomas (Pickerington, OH) and freshman Cole Brennan (Anderson, OH) added two hits of their own for the RedStorm, who had lost six straight games and 11 of their previous 12 outings entering the contest.
