Baseball Sees Ninth Inning Lead Diminish as Augie Stuns Titans

BLOOMINGTON, Ill. – The Illinois Wesleyan University baseball battled College Conference of Illinois and Wisconsin foe Augustana College, Monday, May 2 at Horenberger Field in Bloomington, Ill. The Green and White let a one-run lead in the ninth slip away as the Vikings escaped with the 4-3 victory. With the loss, IWU's record slipped to 16-17 (7-8 CCIW), while Augie's record jumped to 25-9 (9-6 CCIW).
