[Baseball] Skyhawks Earn 3 Game Sweep Over USC Beaufort and Their Best Start in History

Beaufort, SC — The Skyhawks traveled to South Carolina this weekend for a 3-game series against The University of South Carolina-Beaufort. Friday the Skyhawks won by a score of 4-1 and Saturday the Skyhawks would end the series with a double header of two 7 inning victories against the Sand Sharks. The Skyhawks would win game one pretty handily by a score of 6-3 and surpass their best start ever after the win. Game two would take an impressive comeback by the Skyhawks. After experiencing their first deficit of the season and being down the entirety of the game, the Skyhawks rallied back from a 6 run deficit and took the lead in the top of the 6th inning by a score of 9-8. The Skyhawks would eventually go on to win the game by a score of 10-8, earning their 7th win of the season and improving their record to 7-0 overall to start off the 2020 season.
