[Baseball] Skyhawks Hot Start Continues as They Beat USC-Beaufort In Game 1 of Series

Beaufort, SC — The Skyhawks traveled to South Carolina this weekend to start a 3-game series against The University of South Carolina-Beaufort on Friday. Point started the series on a 4-game winning streak that was looking to match the best start ever for a Skyhawks Baseball team since entering the NAIA. After a few scoreless innings, the Skyhawks found some runs in the 6th and took the lead 2-0 to end that inning. Starter, Keagan Spradlin (SR/LaGrange, Ga.), threw 5 innings of scoreless ball before finally giving up his first run in the 6th inning. He finished throwing 6.0 innings giving up only 4 hits, 1 earned run, and striking out 5 during his stretch, earning his 2nd win of the season and moving him to 2-0 on the year.
