Baseball splits in battle atop the WHAC

GRAND RAPIDS, Mich. – After a rain out on Saturday, Cornerstone and Concordia was able to get in their conference double-header as the two teams that currently sit on top of the WHAC standings split the pair with Concordia winning game one 6-1, and Cornerstone winning game two 7-6. JC Salinas was the hero of game two with a walk-off winner in the bottom of the ninth after Concordia rallied off four in the the top of the inning to tie the game. Cornerstone will hit the road on Saturday to take on Rochester for another WHAC double-header starting at 1 p.m.
