Baseball Sweeps Illinois College in Non-Conference Bout

The Loras College baseball team (3-1, 0-0 A-R-C) was back in Jacksonville, Ill. Saturday afternoon as they took on the Illinois College Blue Boys (1-9, 0-0 MWC) in a non-conference doubleheader. Last weekend the Duhawks handed the Blue Boys at 15-5 loss and continued where they left off this weekend with a clean sweep, winning game one 3-2 and dominating the second game with an 11-6 final score. Luke Fennelly helped guide the Duhawks to their 11-6 victory going 3-5 at the plate and scoring twice while Max Cullen continued his red hot season, driving in three runs in that same game.
