Baseball Sweeps Purdue Northwest, Runs Winning Streak to Six

HAMMOND, Ind. — The 18th-ranked Wayne State University baseball team (15-6 overall, 4-0 GLIAC) finished up a perfect league-opening weekend on Sunday sweeping Purdue Northwest (8-9 overall, 0-4 GLIAC) with scores of 9-1 and 6-2.  During their six-game winning streak, the Warriors have outscored their opponents 56-8.  They'll be at Saginaw Valley State on Wednesday for one game beginning at 3 p.m.
