Baseball swept by Rider in Sunday Doubleheader

Senior Chris Pouliot tossed a season-high six strikeouts, but a pinch hit double from Rider's Erich Hartmann in the bottom of the seventh inning would prove to be the difference as the Golden Griffins fell, 2-1, in game one of Sunday's doubleheader. The Blue and Gold would embark on a late game surge in the second contest, scoring three runs in the final two innings, but the Broncs would not relinquish their lead and hold on to win, 8-6, and secure the regular season series in collegiate baseball action from Sonny Pittaro Field in Lawrenceville, N.J.
