[Baseball] Tigers Face the Scots

Lookout Mountain, GA – March 10, 2020 – The Iowa Wesleyan Tiger Baseball team traveled to Covenant College in Georgia today to compete in one game against the Scots. The Tigers struggled all around today. Pitching, defense, and hitting just couldn't find a way to get things going. The only glimmer of hope IW had was brought in the 5th inning when Levi Avery (JR/Forsyth, GA) hit a solo homer to put the Tigers on the board. Cole Turman (FR/Rockford, IL) then doubled down the right field line which allowed Minami Matsumoto (JR/Pymble, Australia) to score the second run for the Tigers. IW could not get their bats going any more than that and fell to the Scots, 2-26.
