[Baseball] TIGERS FALL TO TABOR IN A LATE GAME PUSH

Kansas City, Mo. – The Tigers fall in this seven-inning game, due to a late push by Tabor College. The beginning of the game was slow for both teams, with little offensive action until the fourth inning. It was then in the fifth inning that the Tigers had their breakthrough, starting with a double by Gunnar Pullins (SO/Valparaiso, Ind.). Pullins would then score when R.W. Rienow (SR/Wheaton, Ill.) put down a bunt that was misfielded by the Tabor pitcher. Rienow would reach first on a throwing error. After a walk pushed Rienow to second, he would be batted in by Jacob Bulthuis (JR/Tinley Park, Ill.) to take a two-run lead.
