Bases-Loaded Walk Completes Comeback Win at Queens
CHARLOTTE, N.C. – Kennesaw State baseball (21-15, 11-5 Atlantic Sun Conference) delivered a come-from-behind victory Friday night to topple the Queens Royals (10-27, 6-10 ASUN), 6-5, at The Stick Williams Dream Fields
KSU finished the sixth down 5-1 but a four-run seventh and a bases-loaded walk by Chris Cole gave the Black and Gold a decisive sixth run to hand the Owls their 11th conference win of 2024.
Third baseman Isaac Bouton once again came through clutch for KSU with two doubles, two RBI and two runs scored on three hits. Catcher Nick Hassan joined him with two hits of his own.
Reliever Luke Cooper (2-0) secured the victory with six strikeouts in 2.1 innings while Bo Rhudy notched his first save this season.
