Bieber eager to add to K's total in finale

Shane Bieber has gone 3-0 with a 0.83 ERA through his first three starts in 2020 and compiled an MLB-best 35 strikeouts in 21 2/3 innings. Those 35 strikeouts rank third-most all-time through the first three starts of a season, trailing Nolan Ryan (37, 1973) and Gerrit Cole (36, 2018). Bieber will try to continue the momentum into Sunday's 7:08 p.m. ET series finale against the White Sox, who'll send righty Lucas Giolito to oppose him. The game will be broadcast live on ESPN.
