Billy Tomblin named head baseball coach at Mayville State

Billy Tomblin has been named head baseball coach at Mayville State University. Tomblin has been an assistant coach with the Comets baseball program since 2013 and will succeed current head coach Scott Berry, who will retire at the end of this season after 42 years as head coach for the Comets. In addition to his head coaching duties, Tomblin will continue to teach part-time in Mayville State's Division of Health Physical Education and Recreation. His new position as head coach will officially begin July 1, 2023.
